I am starting!

Ok, I am starting on the quilt, but I have had so many more people say they either had a square, or that they wanted to participate. So, if you still want to give a square, please email me and I will get you my address :) I am sure I will not get done before we leave to get him, but since it is fall break, I have some extra time to get started. I'm lovin' this patriotic fabric sent to us from one of my high school friends, Misty. Misty is one of the sweetest people on the planet! My mom has the pleasure of teaching with her and she is always talking about how sweet she is, too. Misty has two of the cutes little boys! I hope we can get together for a play date when Max comes home and we visit mom :)

I love this bright, colorful fabric from the Nunley family. We have been good friends with this family since our 2 oldest girls started kindergarten together. Her youngest and Mallory are in the same grade, too. Allison and I have many fun memories through the years of chaperoning our kids field trips together, especially Washington. It was on a field trip years ago that she found out I did hair. I have been doing her and her daughters' hair ever since. We joke that even when we are old and gray I will still be doing her hair :)

This sporty soccer fabric is from the Pate family. I met Belinda years ago when our kids were still at home. We worked together at the YMCA in the nursery. Our girls M&A are friends and have gotten to be at the same school through 8th grade. I am their family hairdresser. I love visiting with them when they come for their haircuts!

This awesome fabric and wish was given to me from Mrs. Gibson, one of my former elementary school teachers. Mrs. Gibson is very creative, as you can see. One thing I remember most about her class was the time capsules we did. We filled them with letters, pictures, etc. She kept them until we graduated, then gave them back to us. It was fun to look at all the things I had in mine.

This very cute golfing fabric came from Miss Lucy H. Lucy is one of Meredith's best friends. We all love her whole family!!! She must be thinking that Max will like golf like his brother Mitchell does. Thanks Lucy!!!

This cute fabric was given to us from my dear friend Michelle S. I have been cutting Michelle's hair now for about 7 years. She comes every 4 weeks. We always have the best time visiting and exchanging recipes while she is here for her cut.
